This week on TV’s Now On, Michael travels across the pond on vacation, or as they say in the UK, “on holiday.” So we pulled Bryce in for the full podcast trifecta. That’s right folks, you get Bryce on three different shows this week. Rick and Bryce talk about what they have been watching recently. They also cover what Neflix is doing with their new business model of releasing original content all at once and how YouTube may start a paid subscription service as well. They cap it off with a review of House of Cards and the return of The Walking Dead. Get ready cause the TV’s Now On!

This week on SSWL, Bryce re-joined us at full capacity and we had a completely off the rails super fun show. We were all over the place for the most part, so I’ll do my best to make sense of it all. This, I think, is what we talked about:

News – Clerks cartoon making a comeback

News – Adobe Photoshop CS6 in beta
News – Netflix app update in the works for iPad
News – Overheating iPad drama
News – Funny WiFi names
News – Instagram and Hipstamatic join forces
News – YouTube adding improvements to it’s uploading process

News – Chloe Moretz in talks to play Carrie
News – The Expendables 2 to be rated R
Discussion – Michael Bay producing Ninja Turtles and all the rage that comes with it
Review – 21 Jump Street (Rick)

News – Adventure Time game coming to Nintendo DS
News – Little Big Planet Karting pisses Mike off
News – Your face gets fixed in next Mass Effect 3 patch
Discussion – Mass Effect 3 drama rantings
Review – Uncharted: Golden Abyss

I was thinking of making a music podcast but decided to make a YouTube top five playlist.  The last Video will only play in YouTube.  Sorry and I hope you enjoy.

IMDb Description: A subversive, scathing look at a self-loathing management consultant from a top-tier firm. Marty, a highly successful, cutthroat consultant is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his clients the information they want.

Showtime has put the first episode of House of Lies on YouTube.  It stars Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, Ben Schwartz, and Josh Lawson.  One reason why I will be watching this is Kristen Bell, but honestly I’m a fan of Don Cheadle as well.
