Trailer: Resident Evil: Retribution

Category : Latest News, Movies

The trailer for Resident Evil: Retribution is up and I am really looking forward to this movie. I wasn’t really into the R.E. movies until the last one. These movies are just VFX awesomeness – like watching a transformers movie. As I said in the Wondercon episode of the podcast, I got to see an entire fight sequence in 3D which was awesome. Milla Jovovich singing “Montage” was fun to watch.

The way the trailer starts is so nonchalant – your typical movie cliche intro, then a fucking zombie attacks her husband! We also get a familiar face back in action in Michelle Rodriguez. The movie is written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and will be out on September 14 2012.

Trailer: Casa De Mi Padre

The trailer for Will Ferrell’s all Spanish movie is here.  I’m not a big fan of Ferrell but this movie looks funny.  I will definitely see it in theaters.  What about you?  Comment Below.

Via IMDb: “Scheming on a way to save their father’s ranch, the Alvarez brothers find themselves in a war with Mexico’s most feared drug lord.”

Staring: Will Ferrell, Genesis Rodriguez, Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna and Nick Offerman.

Trailer: Silent House (US)

Category : Latest News, Movies

IMDb Description: Trapped inside her family’s lakeside retreat, a young woman descends into madness.

I was very impressed with Elizabeth Olsen in Martha Marcy May Marlene last year.  Her performance was awesome.  Another movie she did that caused a lot of buzz at Sundance was Silent House,  a remake of Gustavo Hernandez’s La Casa Muda.  Both movies clam to be done in one continuous shot and that is why everyone finds this movie intriguing.  The film comes out on  March 9th, 2012.

Trailer: Upside Down

Category : Latest News, Movies

Description via IMDB: A man searches an alternate universe for a long-lost love from his youth.

Upside Down visually looks amazing. There was an HD version out, but it seems YouTube has taken it down.  The story’s premise is similar Romeo and Juliet, but with a Sci-Fi twist.  It stars Kirsten Dunst and Jim Sturgess playing the roles of Adam and Eve.  I’m looking forward to seeing this when it comes out later this year.

New Spider-Man and Dark Knight Rises Poster

Category : Latest News, Movies

Two new posters for you: The Amazing Spider-Man (from SuperHeroHype) and Dark Knight Rises.

The Dark Knight Rises tagline makes me happy,  but also sad because after this Nolan’s finished with Batman.  Although, in a year or two I’m sure they will reboot it just like Spider-Man.  What are your opinions on the poster?  Comment Below.
