new_sswl_logo_2016This week we are joined by our good friends d Ryan O’Leary. Ryan joined us to talk about Edge of Seventeen, apparently he liked it.  He also gave his quick thoughts on Manchester by the Sea and praised the movie Kicks. After that, Rick and Mike review Bleed for This and do a live viewing and reaction for the newest  Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2 trailer.

In video games, the boys go over some of the winners from The Game Awards as well as some of the news from day 1 of the PlayStation  Experience convention.

Thank you for all the support we really appreciate it. Enjoy the show.

Back at full strength this week, Mike, Rick, and Bryce have plenty to talk about. There’s movies, video games, and even some music. So, you tell two friends and they’ll tell two friends and so on and so on.

In movies, we watch and discuss the trailers for Silence, Fences, and Split. All things we were pretty into. I mean come on, one is Scorsese, one is Denzel, and one is Shyamalan. How could we not be pumped?

When it comes to video games we covered The Video Game Awards nominees for “Game of The Year” and “Best Narrative.” Then finally, after months and months. . .we are finally able to give a full review (with limited spoilers) of Uncharted 4. That’s right, Rick finally finished it

Now time for the music portion of the show. Mike and Bryce discuss the finer and not so fine points of Metallica’s newest studio album Hardwired…to Self-Destruct.

If you’re into all that above then you’ll enjoy this episode, if not then pass it on to someone you don’t like and share the misery. As always thanks for all the downloads, listens, and support of any kind. Enjoy the show.

new_sswl_logo_2016Continuing a running theme, this week the boys are once again not at full strength. With Bryce out, Rick and Mike talk about some things and manage to stay the course.

When it comes to movies/TV, some Y: The Last Man news, the trailer for Ghost in the Shell and some Deadpool director news is discussed.

In video games, after having finished the main story, Mike continued his gushing over Mafia III. The Steep open beta and the Overwatch free weekend were also covered.

As always, thank you for visiting this site, watching our videos, listening to the rambling of mad men and most importantly sharing these posts and links. It means more than you know. Enjoy the show

This week we are without Mike, but in his place is a returning Bryce as well as first time guest Annie, who has long been a behind the scenes supporter of the show.

As seems to be the theme of the last few weeks, there wasn’t much by way of news to discuss, so we filled in the blanks with our reactions to a few trailers as well as random talk about pizza and Christmas. The trailers we covered included Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Ben Affleck’s Live by Night, and Incorporated, a SyFy show produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck which starts this month. So as you can see, this show is littered with Rick’s boy big Benny Affleck as well as other random shenanigans that you have come to expect (and enjoy?) week in and week out.

As always, thanks for listening and for the support!
