It has been well documented on SSWL that I am a huge fan of the Gran Turismo series. An update to GT5 has been discussed for awhile, but the recent natural disasters in Japan coupled with an office relocation has led to Polyphony Digital falling behind on major updates to the game. However, minor game play tweaks and regular updates to seasonal events have still occurred in spite of all this, making an already awesome game an even more enjoyable experience. All that being said, I came across an article on one of my favorite GT related sites (gtplanet.net) which detailed some of the major things coming with the Spec 2.0 update as well as the DLC that’s coming soon after. Check it out here and be sure to buy the game while you are at it. With its recent price drop, you can get the game at most major retailers for about $40 bucks. I’ll probably be gushing about it on the show this week.
